Electrical Contractor Office Manager
Office Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee and support administrative staff in their duties to ensure the office is operating smoothly and efficiently by employing efficient and competent administrative staff
- Divide and delegate office duties based on the individual’s skill level
- Develop office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately
- Analyze existing administrative procedures and come up with ways in which they can be improved
- Identify opportunities for process and office management improvements, and design and implement new systems
- Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, doing research, and creating reports
- Assist with managing and maintaining IT infrastructure
- Ensure the billing is all inclusive and accurate
- Perform receptionist duties: greet visitors, and answer and direct phone calls
- Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
Qualifications for Office Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, communications, or a related field
- 2+ years of construction office experience in an administrative/office management role
- Good typing skills; proficient in MS Word, Excel and Google Applications; and able to work swiftly and accurately through various small office projects
- Must have exceptional attention to detail and conscientious
- Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to strategically prioritize tasks
- Must be a self-starter and driven
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and Google applications
- TEXAS Driver’s License and good driving record
Term: Two-month trial period
Hours: Full time 8:00am-5:00pm 1-hour lunch
Compensation: $20 – $35/hour depending on experience
Service Electrician
$25.00-$35.00/hour depending on experience
REQUIREMENTS
Must have Journeymen Electrician License,
Valid drivers license, be insurable, and no DUI(s)
